Suri Sumatras 30th at the Jamboree

So we had a lovely night of musicians, performers and creatives all together for a birthday party at one of London's little hidden gems. A unique evening of entertainment from some of London's finest performers and all for a very special someone Miss Heather Morris aka Suri Sumatra!!

It was a pleasure to be a part of such a wonderful evening.

I think my favourite bit was the finale on  stage singing happy birthday surrounded by millions of feathers!

Happy Birthday Suri!

Stranger Than Paradise Brixton

If you ever find yourself in London and would like to go to a riotus gypsy, balkan night, then get yourself down to the Brixton Hootanany and join in on the fun at Stranger that Paradise!

These guys seriously know how to throw a good show and it is always a pleasure to perform there. I shared the stage with Sub Morte and my highlight of the night Gerty and her Gaiety, honestly, incredible, what a voice! Mesmerising and with a blimming good band. Plus of coarse Djs and Stranger founders, Sacha Deu playing his gypsy beats and Amanda playing her balkan favourites.

I was also very excited to hear my lovely chum Suri Sumatra would be there, we had some drinks and a giggle, aaand I agreed to perform my new routine for her at her birthday party...pics to follow in next post.

The Swing Ninjas Album launch

I had the pleasure of being invited to dance for The Swing Ninjas at their album launch party, three very talented and handsome chaps from Brighton.

Tplayed 'trust in me' (from the jungle book) but a very slow and sexy version, however there was no rehearsal, so it was all improvised. Which I will admit was brilliant! I loved it.

I performed with me fans and then finished it with fire, the Mesmerist is a great place to perform as the crowd are so involved, a lot are part of the swing collective down here so go mental and throw each other about. I love the Mesmerist, for those who don't know it, you have to come by one night and play. I can be found there on occasion as part of the Saturday Night at The Mesmerist show, which is always good fun.

Check out some pictures taken by the lovely Ben Holden.

New Images - By Russ Bell

Here are some dark and moody images taken by Russ Bell. He's a Brighton based photographer, we have worked together a few times. Lovely bloke. They were shot at the Pelerocco Hotel.
